Apprentice Accounts

We’re currently offering placements for Apprentices to join our growing Accounts Team. This role needs excellent communication skills, having the ability to prioritise and organise a varied workload within a high-volume multi-tasking environment.  You will need to demonstrate good organisation skills.  The role requires you to work closely with senior members of the business to improve and drive the business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of transactional financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control.

Skills you’ll learn

★ Upload new customers from CRM database to Sage

★ Create Sales orders for maintenance packages sold

★ Create sales orders/invoices for Solar & Air Source Heat Pump Installations

★ Download and print bank activity for payments

★ Allocate payments to customer accounts for Solar & Air Source Heat Pump Installations

★ Post customer invoices with deposit and outstanding balance

★ Post customer receipts with relevant data sheets

★ Create credit notes for cancelled installations for Solar & Air Source Heat Pumps and allocate to Sage

★ Raise purchase orders

★ Allocate stock received

★ Perform 3-way matching to invoices and raise any queries with suppliers

★ Reconcile bank statements

★ Allocate supplier invoices to purchase orders on Sage

★ Pay supplier invoices

★ Use bank feed to allocate payments on Sage

★ Chase outstanding invoice/receipts

★ Update daily figures via email to senior management

★ Perform induction for new employees

★ Using Addtime time and attendance software to verify hours worked, provide alerts for lateness and missed clocking’s.
