Notification of change to Direct Debit payments
Over the last couple of years, our daily lives have changed forever. From COVID and the UK Economy to the ongoing Energy Crisis and now the Cost of Living Crisis, we’re all realising how important it is to save money where we can. We’ve seen many of our customers increase their energy usage while working from home, getting their washing done whilst on a conference call, running the dishwasher during the day and boiling the kettle more times in the day than they would normally…all these little things add up.
Thankfully the vast majority of our customers have been relatively unaffected by the ongoing energy crisis as they have access to free energy from the sun to power their homes during the day and solar batteries to help run their home at night. A number of customers have actually chosen to increase their Solar PV system and battery size to give them even more energy use.
In the last 12 months we’ve seen the biggest increase in Solar PV Maintenance contracts being taken out for over 8 years, and understandably so, as our customers want to make sure their Solar PV Systems are performing as well as they possibly can during these uncertain times. ESE Group are one of the largest maintenance companies in the UK and are trusted by over 13,000 customers to maintain their systems.
As a responsible business we’ve carried out over 35,000 maintenance checks and have never increased the cost of our maintenance plan in 8 years. From August 2023, we have taken the difficult decision to increase our Direct Debit payments.
These changes will come into effect from 15th August 2023.
This notification is to provide you with advance notice that there has been a change to your direct debit payment arrangements under the Direct Debit.
Your Direct Debit payments have been amended.
Date of Change: 15/08/2023
Amount: £22.99
Collections: On day: 15th, on a monthly basis
If your payment date falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday, it will be collected on the next working day. If any of these details are incorrect or if you have any questions regarding your Direct Debit, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0151 665 0560 or email mail@esegroup.co.uk.
However, if your details are correct you don’t need to do anything and your Direct Debit will be processed as normal.

You have the right to cancel your Direct Debit at any time. A copy of the Direct Debit Guarantee is below. Please note that ESE Group Ltd will appear on your bank statement for these direct debit payments.
The Direct Debit Guarantee

This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.

If there are any changes to the amount, date, or frequency of your Direct Debit GoCardless or Easy Collect (depending on who you are setup with) will notify you 3 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If you request GoCardless or Easy Collect to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.

If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by GoCardless, Easy Collect or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society

If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when GoCardless or Easy Collect asks you to.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
