The cost of solar PV panels has fallen dramatically, making them a viable option to power your home, lower your energy bills, rescue carbon emissions and lower your impact on the environment.
Some Air source heat pumps can now achieve a coefficient performance of over 4:1. Add the renewable heat incentive (RHI) funding and this makes installing and air source heat pump an easy decision.
Solar thermal panels are the cheapest way to produce hot water. Unlike PV solar panels, they DO need direct sunlight. However, as the cost has come down and it is something worth considering if you have the roof space.
