with Ukraine
ESE Group have secured 5 properties to house Ukrainian refugees fleeing the conflict of war.
The UK Government has pledged to help fund people who are able to house refugees. ESE Group will claim the Government funding, but will not be using it. Instead we will Pay It Forward to a dedicated UK charity that is setup to help support Ukrainian refugees and help secure 5 more properties.
We can’t do this by ourselves and we’re asking for help to make their arrival as comfortable as possible. We’re currently taking donations of furniture, such as beds, couches, and appliances as well as essentials such as food, clothing, and children’s toys.
Whatever you can spare, we can put to good use.
Our Mission
We want to turn our 5 houses into 5 comfortable homes for Ukrainian refugees.
The people fleeing Ukraine are mostly likely to be women and children so our mission is to make the 5 houses into 5 suitable homes.
Our 5 Homes
The properties we’ve secured are in Runcorn, a town based in Cheshire, North West England. Runcorn is situated along the River Mersey and is positioned between Liverpool and Manchester, making it an ideal location for many who live there.
The 5 secured homes are based within a few short miles of each other, with two located on the same street to create a sense of community for the families that have been stripped of almost everything they own.
Importantly, each and every home is fully available, meaning people arriving from Ukraine will have complete privacy and not have to share someone else’s home.
How can you help?
Firstly, no donation is too big or too small, everything will help towards making these houses into homes for the people that need it most.
In order to ensure your kind donation is put to the best use possible we’ve come up with some suggestions below…
- Kitchen appliances – toasters, kettles, microwaves.
- Household items – beds, sofas, tea coffee sugar pots, plates, pots, pans, bowls, utensils, lamps.
- Comfort items – blankets, duvets, pillows, children’s toys.
- Personal care – toothbrushes, feminine care products, towels, soft toys, toiletries.
- Clothing – womens and childrens.
